Tickets for the Big Ben tours in October go on sale on 10th July. Tickets are non-refundable, so we need to get confirmation of the numbers before we buy them. Unfortunately, they've now increased in price to £30
We'll book a late-morning tour of Elizabeth Tower and in the afternoon visit the Hunterian Museum which holds over 2000 exhibits that trace the history of surgery from ancient times to the latest robot-assisted operations. Entry to this museum is free so it won't be an issue if you'd rather spend your time elsewhere.
The tour of the Elizabeth Tower takes you up a narrow 334-step spiral stairwell to the Belfry where Big Ben, the Great Bell, hangs. Along the route, your guide will reveal details of the most extensive and complex conservation project in the Tower’s history.
